Your body is your home. This practice invites you to explore your body as a sanctuary and to find peace in the human you are. The beginning of the class will focus on simple, creative movements coupled with breathing practices. The latter half of the class will include myofascial release (self-massage with balls), yin yoga and a discussion on the relationship between self-love and the ability to nurture the best that lives inside you.
Teacher for this event
Tracey’s signature teaching style offers students an intimate exploration of the intersection between mind, breath and body. She has a background and education in biology, molecular biology, nursing, acute care, public health education, and both Swedish and Thai massage. Her yoga practice has been her best friend in all its forms for over 20 years. She has studied with many great teachers, but her greatest love is the yoga therapy method as taught to her by Felicia & Ante Pavlovic combined with yin yoga. She is a teacher’s teacher and has been delivering and reviewing yoga curriculum in Toronto and internationally for over 10 years.
