The Teacher’s Retreat is a unique opportunity for certified teachers to immerse themselves in a community of colleagues and teacher trainers to grow and develop towards becoming the best version of themselves. We begin on Thursday evening with a master class and continue on Friday with 2 intensive workshops. The full schedule can be seen here

The Yoga Weekend is Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and is open to all levels of practitioner (even first-timers, so you can bring your non-yogi BFF with!).

You can attend just the Teacher’s Retreat, just The Yoga Weekend or both (there’s even a discount for that!).

You tell us! As part of the registration process, you will be asked for your “cabin requests” where you can tell us who you want to live with.

Looking for a little more privacy, maybe even a romantic getaway? Reserve a “couples cabin” with room for only 2 (2 singles or a double are available).

Camp style dining is the opportunity for connection and collaboration. Enjoy classic camp favourites with a healthy approach to feed our active adult campers with discerning tastes. Our kitchen can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free diets as well as other allergies and dietary restrictions. Please share your dietary requests in the registration application. You can read more about the food at camp on the Walden website

Nothing to fear here! Pick your favourite camp activity (waterski, canoe, tennis, zipline, and more), bring a good book to savour while chillin on the docks, take in a cooking class or health and wellness workshop. The weekend is yours…

Not quite yet, but if you’re interested, please let us know. If we have enough interest, we will offer a round-trip coach bus at an additional cost of $75-100

We endeavor to disconnect from phones, social media, etc. as much as possible. We do not have cell service at camp, but do have wifi available for those that need to check in periodically throughout the weekend.

There are additional fees for massage therapy, mala workshop and retail purchases. Otherwise, everything is included and you can enjoy a weekend with empty pockets.

We will be serving alcohol on Saturday night (included in your ticket price), but we’re all adults here so feel free to bring your favourite drink to enjoy around the camp fire.

SCHEDULE

This is your weekend to choose your own adventure! Here is our schedule of offerings for you to look over.

No need to sign up for most classes and activities before you arrive. Enjoy what inspires you in the moment!

There is limited space or materials for the following:

SUP, Mala Workshop, Roll Yourself to Freedom, Ski and Zipline

Sign up will be available at camp

MASSAGE

Book yourself a MASSAGE at the Farmhouse Spa! Please email om@theyogaweekend.com to book your appointment. We have a few spots left.

CABINS
Our cabins are cozy and rustic. There is running water and bathrooms in every cabin. You will need to bring sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. We recommend a flat sheet so it can fit on various mattress sizes (cot, single and double), a warm comforter/duvet and a sleeping bag/extra blanket.

EMBRACE THE PACE: CELL SERVICE/WIFI
There is limited (if any) cell service at camp. We kinda hope the idea of leaving your devices in the cabin and fully immersing yourself in the great outdoors excites you. However, we understand that many of us are leaving “real life” in the city and may need to check in. There are phones and limited Wi-Fi available in the camp office.

ALCOHOL
We are serving Beau’s Beer, Wine and a few cocktails on Saturday night (included in your ticket price), but feel free to bring your favourite drink to enjoy around the camp fire. We remind you to drink responsibly, of course!
RETAIL

We got you! We have extras of the basics and our RETAIL PARTNERS are stocked with cozies from head to toe for you to shop! Some of our favourite homegrown Canadiana companies are setting up shop for the weekend with their apparel, treats and yoga gear. Our pop-up shop will be open during meal times in the Dining Hall and a portion of retail sales will be donated to Yoga 2 Conquer Cancer!

Cash or credit card will be accepted.

If you have any concerns along the way, please feel free to call the Camp Walden office at 1-888-254-4274. Cell phone reception is intermittent/limited so it is best to give us a call as you’re passing through Bancroft (or before) which is about 30 minutes before you reach camp.
